    Contracts Manager - Spain

    Having become market leaders in the UK we are now searching for a talented Contracts Manager for Spain to join our sales team. Based in London or Barcelona and reporting to the Head of Hotels – Spain, this person will take responsibility for negotiating contracts for hotel product direct with suppliers in Spain (specific area dependent on experience).

    Questions you will help answer OR Problems we are trying to solve
    •How can we maximise our goal in capturing further market share across Spain?
    •How do we continue to drive and improve a sales culture in the Spanish sales team?
    •How do we grow our hotel partnerships and ensure we continue to offer the same level of competitor envying service?
    •How do we ensure that Secret escapes remains the lowest price point but maintains the quality offering our customers expect?

    Things you’ll be working on
    •Delivering a best in class product offering by:
    •Negotiating discounts of up to 70% with hotels in Spain
    •Identifying a pipeline of sales that offer a constant diversity of product across Spain from country hotels and spas to chic and boutique in the city, from beach resorts to self-catering apartments
    •Manage all elements of the contracting process from target identification and initial contact right through to pricing, contract agreement and allocation management

    The deal breakers
    •You are a proven Contracts Manager with a track record of successful product roles
    •Experienced in negotiating contracts with Spanish hotels – city, beach or rural is essential
    •Possess a black book of contact for Spanish hoteliers
    •Have good knowledge of the domestic Spanish travel market
    •Have good knowledge of the inbound travel market
    •Experienced sales and negotiation professional with previous flash sale experience a bonus
    •Boundless energy and commitment to your work and an entrepreneurial ‘can do approach’ to business
    •Native level Spanish speaker
    •Fluent English
    •Ability to travel to Spain, or overseas when required
    •Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
    •Knowledge of Salesforce a bonus

    And you are…
    •A specialist in sales, business development and negotiation skills – with previous flash sale experience a bonus
    •Full of boundless energy and commitment to your work and an entrepreneurial ‘can do’ approach to business
